I'm Jamie, an art director in Jersey City. If I'm not creating, I can be found cuddling with my smushed-face dogs, Mary and George, drinking too much coffee, eating too much dark chocolate and generally eating a lot of cheese.
I've been obsessed with design and obsessed with New York since my days of playing with Fashion Plates. (Anyone remember those?) After high school, I packed up my bags, left my hometown of Easton, PA, and headed to the Big Apple to attend School of Visual Arts, where I graduated with a degree in graphic design.
I became obsessed with editorial design while in school and knew that was it. I HAD to work in magazines. I have been a freelancer most of my career and have worked at various titles, including but not limited to: T Magazine, Women's Health, TIME, Nylon, Conde Nast Traveler, and a few design studios along the way (Pentagram, Brobel and Number 17).
Adam Glassman thinks I'm quite good.
In my free time, I like to work on my side-hustle - Places I've Consumed.
