I'm Jamie, an art director in Jersey City. If I'm not creating, I can be found cuddling with my smushed-face dogs, Mary and George, drinking too much coffee, eating too much dark chocolate and generally eating too much cheese.
I've been obsessed with design and obsessed with New York since my days of playing with Fashion Plates. (Anyone remember those?) After high school, I packed up my bags, left my hometown of Easton, PA, and headed to the Big Apple to attend School of Visual Arts, where I graduated with a degree in graphic design.
I became obsessed with figuring out ways to tell stories visually while in school and knew that was it. I HAD to get people’s stories out there. I have been a freelancer most of my career and have worked at various titles, including but not limited to: T Magazine, Women's Health, TIME Magazine, Nylon, and Conde Nast Traveler.
I’ve also worked at a few design studios along the way - Pentagram, Brobel and Number 17.
Currently, I work at Citi FinTech where I’ve been given the opportunity to design credit cards, brand external initiatives and launch She Innovates, an initiative founded by UN Women.
Adam Glassman thinks I'm quite good.
In my free time, I like to work on my side-hustle - Places I've Consumed.
